If you notice something wrong with iNaturalist's taxonomy, such as an outdated name, misspelling, or formatting errors, navigate to the taxon page and click "Curation," then "Flag for curation" on the right side of the page. Leave a short message explaining what needs to be done (and please provide a source) and an iNaturalist curator will look into the issue.
